Contracting Authority

The Regional Digital Transformation and Procurement Directorate operates as a central purchasing body for the procurement of goods and services both for operating expenses and for the management of the sectoral needs of the individual Regional Directorates or of the regional bodies that request it.

In such cases, the Purchasing Center has the task of managing the tender procedure and providing specific specialist support (e.g. administrative, legal) by agreeing the sourcing strategy and the optimal purchasing model for selecting the contractor with the requesting Regional Directorate, which is generally responsible for managing the execution of the contract.
